My life-long passion for travel has taken me to six continents and more than 57 countries, many of which I’ve published stories about during my more than 25 years as a travel journalist, editor and photographer.

I write feature articles, lodging reviews, photo essays, branded content and blogs for multiple print and online outlets. Looking back in life’s rear view mirror, it’s clear that the road I’ve taken has always been mapped by opportunities to travel with my family and friends and for work. My storytelling covers destinations and experiences around the world from the skyscraper-studded Chicago lakefront and sweeping Kansas prairie to the desolate beauty of the Namib Desert and thin air, snow-crusted slopes of Mount Everest. I travel to experience our amazing planet’s diverse peoples, cultures, foods, cities and natural beauty. Here at KitTravels I share my journeys in words and photographs.
